The sky was so blue at Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell's Malibu wedding. Just ask Miley Cyrus.
The "Used to Be Young" singer had the honor of walking her mom down the aisle in addition to serving as one of her bridesmaids at the Aug. 19 nuptials.
"To see my mom this happy and in love is very emotional for me," Miley told Vogue in a profile about the wedding published Aug. 25. "Dom and my mom share the sweetest, most genuine love. It's almost like it's for the first time, which is so fitting for my mom who is such a young soul."
In fact, Miley believes the couple "started aging in reverse" ever since Tish slid into the Prison Break actor's DMs, adding that the Cyrus matriarch "has gotten even more beautiful."
"The day was as special and magical as they are," the pop star raved. "To stand beside my mother and give her away to Dom is a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life."
The ceremony took place at Miley's home by the backyard pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Tish wore a strapless white lace dress by Netta Benshabu for her walk down the aisle, while Miley and the rest of the bridesmaids—including 36-year-old sister Brandi Cyrus—donned ice blue dresses from Bec & Bridge.
The bride's oldest son Trace Cyrus, 34, was also part of the wedding party.
For Miley, it was important to take time to celebrate her mother's big day. "My whole life my mom has been behind the scenes," she explained. "She was always the one getting me ready for big days, starting with cheerleading competitions, then eventually on sets or backstage before a performance. She has never stopped celebrating me and has been so supportive of my decisions. I feel honored to be that person for her, now that I'm older."
The nuptials came more than a year after Tish filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus, who she was married to for nearly 30 years. The duo share Miley, Brandi and Trace, as well as son Braison Cyrus, 29, and daughter Noah Cyrus, 23.
Tish's two youngest kids did not appear in wedding photos published by Vogue.
"It was like I was in a fairytale," Tish told the publication of her wedding. "The most romantic fairytale you could ever imagine."
